On this page, you will find community breast cancer events. We could not do what we do, without the support of our community. We are very fortunate to have wonderful people and organizations holding such creative events! Follow us on Facebook to learn about community events that support the Beyond Pink TEAM. Ignite the Cancer Conversation:
Mark you calendar for our FREE 2021 event which will be held virtually on October 19 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. and will feature Dr. Cyrus Ghajar, Associate Professor of Public Health Sciences and Human Biology Divisions, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Dr. Ghajar researches metastasis, or the spread of cancer cells to distant sites, and how the microenvironments of these sites (including bones) can put cancer cells to sleep – or wake them up. CEU credits are offered for this event. Learn more on our Ignite the Cancer Conversation page.
Ignite the Cancer Conversation is an educational event that is held once a year as a service to the Greater Cedar Valley. It offers an opportunity to learn more about issues related to cancer such as prevention strategies, the latest in research, how you can be an advocate, and more. Additionally, it brings patients, caregivers, advocates, and the medical community together to have conversations about how we can work together to bring an end to cancer.

I am not a cancer survivor, but when I retired, I knew I wanted to volunteer for the Beyond Pink TEAM. All funds raised, stay local, and help many with the cost of cancer. To me, this was a way I could give back to my community and those in need. I have proudly volunteered my time to support this organization.
